Description of Ramsey Metal Detecting Club
Ramsey Metal Detecting Group (Ramsey MDG) is created for detectorists from the surrounding area to get together once a month to meet socially and share finds, experience and advice on metal detecting. You must live within an approx 30-mile radius to join.
(WE DO NOT HAVE ANY LAND TO DETECT ON AT THIS TIME)
Attending organised digs as a group whenever possible and sharing information on such digs to members who may wish to attend.
The joining fee is £5. (There may be a need to also pay fees for detecting if necessary. Also, club fees will be subject to review by the membership). This is payable upon registration.
Membership fees are non-refundable after a period of 2 months after joining the club.
If you fail to attend club meetings, testbed sessions or rallies without contacting the club on a regular basis your membership will be cancelled, for e.g ( Being non-active for a period of 3 months or more). This has been put into action to keep club members active.
The club will allow you 1-month notice before cancelling your membership to give you a chance to keep active. Cancellations will be made through a majority vote.
If you are caught night hawking you will unfortunately no longer be associated with this club.
